SI-Loc@l Project has been designed to support enterprises and employees adaptability within the framework of the Information and Communication Technologies.

Actions developed within the SI-Loc@l project aim to introduce and to develop the Information Society in all Asturias municipalities with less than 40.000 inhabitants.

The main objectives of the project are:

• Analysis of the impact of Information and Communication Technologies in SMEs.
• Analysis of the level of competencies and qualifications required by professionals, to became active users of these technologies, as well as the existing training offer to acquire those competences.
• Development of strategies according to the results obtained from the before mentioned analysis.
• Design and development of on-line training tools.
• Organization of on-line training courses for employees and entrepreneurial experts.
• Design of an on-line labour guidance and counselling service.
• Offer technological consultancy to SMEs.
• Running a Mobile Telematic Demonstration Service.
• Organisation of dissemination events, in order to make gain project actors awareness
